today i'd like to mention one girl. someone i've known for close to six years now. my buddy in primary five. we've seperated since going to secondary school, being in different classes and all. it's not a name most, or even all, people would associate with me, but her name is jia qian. for four years since graduating from primary school, we've hardly spoken. only the occassional hi and bye when we meet in the hallway, and random chats on msn. but every year, without fail, i recieve a christmas(cum birthday)card. from her. and for this year, in particular, my only christmas card so far, if you don't count the "Mr benjamin Tham and family" crap. really makes me wonder the meaning of true friends, and where you stand in the lives of others.

in any case, thanks jia qian. i appreciate your card(s). a lot.
